Athens Open Tour operates all year round. Our Athens, Piraeus, Riviera & Beaches tours run daily with a 15-30 minute frequency time schedule from 08.00 until 20.00 during the summer season April to November and from 09.00 until 17.45 during the winter season December to March.

The tickets on this website are sold for and on behalf of Athens Open Tour (The Company) for the Get on Get off Tour and purchase of the tickets is evidence of acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

1. E-TICKETS
Customer’s purchasing tickets on this website will have their tickets delivered to them by way of E-ticket. Confirmation emails will only be generated in English. Similarly, all communication from Company and to the Company is required in English. The Customer will need to print the E-ticket and bring the printed copy with them to present it to a member of the staff at the Customer’s preferred boarding point.

2. E-TICKET REDEMPTION
Customers with E-tickets must bring the printed E-ticket along with the credit card used to make the purchase or valid photo ID of the “Lead Traveller”, whose name is printed on the E-ticket. The Customer should present their E-ticket to a uniformed member of staff, at the preferred boarding point. The member of staff will exchange the E-ticket for a valid ticket To Travel. The Company reserves the right to refuse any E-tickets presented without either credit card or photo ID

3. TICKET VALIDITY
The ticket entitles the Customer to use all services during operational hours and is valid for use on the Get on Get off for 24 hours and 48 hours from the time and date stated on ticket. When the ticket expires the Customer must either leave the tour at the next available opportunity or purchase another ticket. Extensions will not be given. Tickets do not guarantee travel on a specific service or at a specific time.

4. CHILDREN
Child tickets are available for Children aged from 5-15 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children under 5 may travel for Free, if accompanied by a dedicated adult (1 adult: 1 child) as long as the child does not occupy a seat to the exclusion of a fare-paying passenger.

5. TICKETS TO TRAVEL
The Customer should keep their ticket safe and must show or purchase their ticket as they board. The ticket remains the property of the company and must be available for inspection upon demand to an authorized Company Official and is not transferable. The Customer will not be permitted to use any bus service without a valid ticket.

6. LOST TICKETS
The Customer must keep their ticket safe. Customers found travelling without a valid ticket will be charged for a replacement ticket.

7. BUSES AND BUS SAFETY
Neither the Company or other authorized agents or their employees shall be liable or in any way responsible for any death, accident, personal injury, loss or damage which is not caused by the gross negligence by the earlier parties nor are they liable for any complains, claims, refund or exchange for any reasons whatsoever, including without limitation cancellation or postponement of the tour. During busy times, seating cannot be guaranteed on either deck. The Company reserves the right to refuse access to travel on a particular departure should circumstance be deemed to compromise tour safety. For safety reasons all Customers on the upper deck are required to remain seated while the bus is in motion.

8. DEPARTURE POINTS AND TIMES & TOUR ROUTE
The Company endeavors to provide departure points and times for the service which are as accurate as possible. However, the Company reserves the right to vary such departure points and times without notice, as circumstances require. The Company reserves the right to deviate from the route of a service in the event of marches, parades, or where reasonably prudent to do so in the light of circumstances beyond the Company’s control. The Company and/or its authorize agents reserve all rights to change any tour, details of the tour, route of the tour, price of the tour, seating capacity, on the bus or any other matters without prior notice. The Company and/or its authorize agents reserve all rights to postpone, cancel, delay or stop the tour due to adverse weather, non-conducive condition, any act of God, or any other cause beyond its control.

9. CUSTOMER CONDUCT
The Company and/or its authorized agents or their employees reserve all rights without refund or compensation to refuse admission to any ticket holder whose conduct is not suitable. We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem his/her conduct offensive or a nuisance to other passengers, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to his/her safety or to the safety of other passengers, and we shall have no further liability. All dangerous items such that can cause harm and danger to other passengers or to the bus or to public is prohibited from the tour and the Company or their employees reserve their right to deny any admission cause by the later or to demand of the disposal of the item or confiscate the item.

10. TICKET AGENTS
Admission to the tour shall be denied for tickets purchased at agents other than the Company’s authorized agents. Any complaint in regards to the tour, including but not limited to cancellation, refunds or any postponements, will be directed to the agent if purchased from them or to the Company if purchased directly from the Company unless specified differently by the Company.

11. REFUNDS
In the event that the Company is unable to provide a service throughout the period of the validity of your ticket through circumstances within its control, you shall be entitled to a full or part refund of the price of your ticket. Any application for a refund must be made in writing (tickets must be enclosed) to the Company’s offices. Generally refunds are allowed ONLY in case that the company is not able to provide the service.

12. ACCIDENT OR LOSS
Please take care of all personal belongings. Property taken on to the vehicle is the ticket holder’s sole responsibility and the Company shall not be responsible to any loss or damage during the tour.The Company will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience, direct or consequential loss, however caused, unless due to negligence by the Company, in which case our liability is limited (except for death or personal injury) for damages to a maximum of the refund of the ticket price.

13. ALCOHOL
The consumption of alcohol is prohibited on the bus at all times.

Receipt of the ticket without immediate objection shall be deemed acceptance of, and agreement to the above conditions, and the Company’s full Condition of Carriage.

Ticket holder understands and accept all risk and danger incidental to the tour whether happens prior to, during or subsequent to the event, including but not limited to any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.
